Print-to-screen adaptation of Christine Suchen Lim's eponymous short story. This version is a concatenation of the scene excerpts containing only the gay storyline moiety of the complete film broadcast. This local made-for-television mini-movie was groundbreaking in Singaporean television and censorship history because it did not portray a male gay person as effeminate or in a negative light, and the story had a happy ending - the homosexual son and his boyfriend were accepted as part of the family.
